Creative Scale is free to join for both brands and creators — no subscription, no monthly fee, and no seat charges. Creative Scale earns in only two situations: a percentage of an attributed sale, and a service fee when a Brand pays a Creator a flat fee. Both are charged to the Brand on top of what the Creator earns, and neither is ever deducted from the Creator.

All charges are billed in U.S. dollars. Fees on a sale are charged only after the sale is attributed and confirmed. A flat fee and its service fee are charged when the Brand approves the Creator, held, and released to the Creator once the Brand approves their last video for the campaign. Connecting a sales channel like Shopify, Amazon, or Meta is free, and installing the Creative Scale Shopify app carries no install fee and no subscription.

How those charges are collected depends on how you joined Creative Scale. Merchants who install Creative Scale from the Shopify App Store are billed through Shopify: fees appear as usage charges on your Shopify invoice, up to a spending limit you approve in your Shopify admin. Brands who signed up directly at creativescale.co are billed by Creative Scale against the card on file. The fees themselves are identical either way — only the method of collection differs. See section 2 for details.

1. How Brands Pay

There is no subscription, monthly, or seat fee to access Creative Scale. Brands are charged only in two situations: when a creator drives an attributed sale, and when a brand pays a creator a flat fee for content.

1.1 Commission Sales

On every sale a creator drives for you, Creative Scale charges a 3 percent platform fee on the attributed sale, charged on top of the creator's commission. The creator keeps 100 percent of their commission, and the fee is only billed after the sale is attributed and confirmed.

1.2 Flat fees

When you pay a creator a fixed rate for content, Creative Scale charges a 1.5 percent service fee on the flat fee, added on top of the creator's stated rate. The creator receives their full rate. For brands billed directly by Creative Scale, Stripe payment processing fees of 2.9 percent plus $0.30 per transaction are also passed through, and flat fee payments are held until you approve the work. Merchants billed through Shopify are not charged a payment processing fee, because no card is charged.

2. How You Are Billed

Creative Scale bills through one of two methods, fixed per account. Which one applies is determined when your account is set up and does not change afterwards.

2.1 Merchants Who Install From the Shopify App Store

If you discovered and installed Creative Scale through Shopify, all fees are charged through Shopify's Billing API. When you install the app you approve a usage-based charge with a spending limit, and each fee is added to your regular Shopify invoice as a usage charge. You will never be asked for a card by Creative Scale, and no payment details are collected outside Shopify.

This applies to every fee you incur with Creative Scale, including fees on sales attributed through Amazon or Meta rather than your Shopify store. You can review your spending limit, and the amount used in the current period, in your Creative Scale settings. Fees above the approved limit cannot be processed until it is raised, which you can request from your Creative Scale settings and approve in Shopify.

2.2 Brands Who Signed Up Directly

If you signed up at creativescale.co and established a billing relationship with Creative Scale before connecting a sales channel, fees continue to be billed directly by Creative Scale against the card on file, processed by Stripe. This applies across every channel you use, including a Shopify store connected later.

3. Integrations Included

Connecting Amazon Seller Central, Shopify, and Meta is included at no additional cost. There is no per-ASIN charge, per-order charge, or per-API-call charge for the integrations themselves.

4. For Creators

Creators use Creative Scale free of charge. There is no subscription fee, signup fee, or platform fee deducted from creator earnings. Creators receive the full flat fee and the full commission percentage agreed with each brand for every campaign.

6. Changes to Pricing
